Eligibility For Direct Entry Route In CA
- Commerce Background graduates with at least a 55% passing percentage.
- Science & Humanities students with at least 60% of passing percentage.
- Students who have passed the CA Intermediate level examination of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India [ICSI] or the Institute of Cost and Works Accountants of India [ICWA]
- Provisional Registration: Students who are appearing for the final year of Graduation can also register under the provisional scheme. With the understanding that he will pass his graduating final exams with at least a 55% grade, a student is permitted to enroll for Inter level during his last year of graduation.

Steps under Direct Entry Scheme:
a. Eligible Graduates and Post Graduates…
- BOS registration (provisional registration allowed to the students doing Final year of graduation). Click on the link to fill out the form.
- Pass CA Inter exams.
- During the provisional registration period, a student can undergo and complete ICITSS (IT and OC). Please note, they cannot start their articleship during this period. Articleship can only be started after clearing Both Groups exam of CA Intermediate.
- A student has to submit the final graduation marksheet within 6 months of provisional registration. If such candidate fails to produce the proof within the aforesaid period, his provisional registration shall stand cancelled and the registration and other fees paid by him shall not be refunded/ adjusted and no credit shall be given.

Students enrolled in the CA Direct Entry Scheme must present attested copies of their post-graduation and graduation mark statements. Additionally, they will need to turn in their mark sheet from the Institute of Company Secretaries of India or the Institute of Cost Accountants of India’s Intermediate level test.
Direct admission path (post- or after-graduation)
First, register for the CA Intermediate Course. Step 2: Finish an Integrated Course on Soft Skills and Information Technology (ICITSS) for four weeks. You must finish this course prior to beginning your articleship. Step 3: Sign up for a three-year practicum or articleship.
The nine months of required articleship are eliminated for those who choose the Direct Entry path, and an eight-month study time is now required. Students in their final year of graduation or those pursuing post-graduation may register provisionally.
